We’re young, we’re wild, we’re free, and in sex terms we are living in the best years of our lives. Some of us will be at it daily, nightly and ever so rightly (thank you, Scrubs), whereas others may be somewhat lacking in inspiration or confidence.

1. Think outside the bed

Beds can be boring, so go out and explore. The thrill of getting away with something naughty outside can be quite literally mind-blowing, and can certainly make queuing more interesting (just don’t get arrested).

3.  Clothes don’t always have to be off

There are plenty of ways in which clothes can add to your bedroom experience, from using them to tie each other up to driving each other mad with tantalizing strip-teases.

Leave a photo-trail for your lover to find when he gets home - a string of photos of you wearing one less item of clothing each time that leads him to the bedroom.

Alternatively, a well-chosen outfit can send your imaginations reeling - a sexy secretary outfit or an ill-disciplined schoolgirl can lead to some devilishly naughty roleplay.

Remember: sex should be fun but also safe. Don’t forget to protect each other from STIs and unplanned pregnancies using effective contraception.
